Is It Sign of the Times?

With the onslaught of so many police shootings...in addition to the way the justice system has ruled these cases...what biblical teachings could this possibly fall under?
Would like to get your thoughts on this as it relates to the apostle's teaching of end times.

Our first "No Sister Left Behind" workshop kicked off on Saturday, October 18, 2014 from  at the Goldy Lewis Community Center in Rancho Cucamonga, Calif.
Session 2 workshop was held in March, 2015.  During both workshops we had a wonderful time getting to know one another and using the exercises and activities to help us become even more empowered and strong.
The series continues so mark your calendars for session 3.

SAVE THE DATE: March 19, 2016.
The word of God declares that we should not neglect our meeting together, but encourage one another and "No Sister Left Behind"
Workshop goals are to meet together to Educate, Empower, and Encourage women to become all God has designed for them, while exploring how we can become even better vessels for His glory...and having a fun time as well.

We look forward to having you join us where the excitement of the Lord is in the air!

How Would You Handle

Much has been said this past week about the racial rantings of an NBA owner.  As a Christian, how would you handle if you learned a friend, a co-worker or other was exposed as was he?
What would you do and how would you handle?

Like to hear all comments...no judging...just another vehicle for expression.

The Inner Struggle

Posted on March 21, 2014 at 1:42 PM Comments comments (31)
Are you finding yourself struggling these days...in relationships, employment, a spouse, feeling inadequate, or maybe guilt or shame?

I know it may be easier said than done when I say...turn it over to Jesus.

Yet it becomes harder when you don't.  You see I've learned the hard way, that when I try to fix it or worry about it...God steps aside and says...have at it my daughter.  And then at the end of the day when it's really bad, He ends up taking it over just the same.

I've also learned if I worry, then why pray for God to do something.
And If I pray, then why worry. God's got your struggle if you give it to him...completely.

This is what the Lord says: Do not be afraid! Don’t be discouraged by this mighty army, for the battle is not yours, but God’s. (2 Chron 20:15)

Like to hear your thoughts.

To be tested, tried, and persecuted is all apart of God's will. The word declares in 1 Peter 4:12,
Beloved, thinkitnotstrange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you:
Wow--Peter is saying these tests will come upon us and we shouldn't be surprised nor see them as something strange or out of the ordinary happening to us.
What does this mean to you?

Shopping Days

Posted on July 7, 2013 at 2:27 AM Comments comments (24)
Shopping has it rewards and it feels good to buy something new, especially for a special occasion.  Recently, I had to buy something and I did not have that many shopping days to find that right outfit. You know how it is...you must feel good in it and make sure there are no alterations needed.  It also must fit for your liking so no matter if you are sitting or standing...it looks good on you.  Now, this is the same way it is with God. When we take on his Spirit and wear his likeness, we must make sure we exude his goodness and walk with confidence, yet with humility.  When we spiritually shop, let's make sure we pick up some purity, holiness, and sweetness...and adorn ourselves with God's glory. It is these types of shopping days that will lead us to eternal life with God.  Have you been spiritually shopping lately?
